Maybank Scholarship Award: Overview

The Maybank Scholarship is awarded to 50 students every year which mean that it's a very very competitive scholarship. Don't let this discourage you though because there's no harm in trying. I was pretty shocked myself when I received the email to take their online assessment(more on that in my next post). For now, here are the summarised details of both the bonded and non-bonded scholarship from the Maybank's scholarship page.

• Full education financial assistance(tuition fees, laptop, accommodation, and living allowance) from Pre-University/Foundation studies up to degree level at:
  -local & overseas institution(Bond)
  -local institution(No Bond)
• Career Preparatory Suite
  (internships, business assignment, presentation impact and effective communication)
• Bond period of 3 to 5 years(Bond)No bond period(No Bond)

Requirements:

• Minimum 6As in SPM or equivalent
• Total annual household income of not more than RM150,000(Bond)RM40,000(No Bond)
• Leadership experience in co-curricular activities
• Applicant must not be a recipient of any other scholarship or award from other organisation(s) or foundation
